There’s a great article on NPR explaining how The Office is the most romantic show on tv. There are spoilers for ‘Blood Drive’, if you’ve yet to watch it, but no spoilers for future episodes! Just a really nice perspective.

A few blog updates to give you guys a fix until the next episode—

Meredith blogged about helping an out of control friend and her Valentine’s day:

Last Saturday was Valentine’s Day. The day of love, so I was lookin’ to get nailed. My latest squeeze, Keith, had dinner plans with his wife, so this year I was flying solo. To celebrate, I got dolled up to hit the town and find myself a Valentine. I broke out my spanx, took off my bra, put on my best denim dress, and used the make-up I swiped from the lost & found box at work. I looked damn good!…

Dwight shared his thoughts on Mose’s new addiction, something we all love:

When choosing which foods to consume, I generally seek the most nutrient-rich provisions. My rations serve as fuel, which I use to power my complex, highly efficient, ass-kicking machine. I especially enjoy protein-rich foodstuffs full of real down-home flavors: be they salty, gamey, or grizzlish. I’ve even been known to enjoy goat milk iced cream, which manages to be both salty and gamey! What I don’t like and what I will not tolerate, is Mose’s recent infatuation with this God-awful frozen yogurt craze….

And finally, Mindy pushed the envelope talking about neon and Jews:

Two seasons ago, Marc Jacobs had the most incredible neon accessories. But I don’t shop at Marc Jacobs, with it’s intimidating protruding Melrose/Melrose Place facade and its skinny rocker boys holding the doors open. I shop across the street at Marc by Marc Jacobs, where the atmosphere inside is comforting and creative, like Harvey Milk High.

Neon is the new metallic? Indians are the new Jews? You can waste a lot of your day coming up with “blank is the new blank”s. But since I’m out on script this week and have no one to talk to all day, I can think about it all I want. So yeah, neon is the new metallic. I love the way neon looks. It’s part 80’s all-star and part traffic cone. Either way, it’s totally playful and great….

Hello, everyone! Weeeeee’reeee back from the festival, and trying to get back into the world of our regular schedules. And unfortunately in doing so, we’ve both gotten sick. So needless to say things have been slow to return to normal. But enough time has gone by, wouldn’t you say? How about an update? In fact, how does 202 gallery updates sound?
